On Saturday, 20 August 2016 we started at the downhill ski parking lot at Cypress Bowl along the Howe Sound Crest Trail to St Mark’s Summit and back. Unlike the Mt Seymour trail this one was mostly in the forest, which made it much more pleasant, not being constantly exposed to the sun. The views of Howe Sound from the steep cliffs a our destination were spectacular. The only downside was that the trail is too popular. It was by far the most crowded trail we’ve experienced this year.
